Recall the Fun Run 2010 Starting at the Pigeon club, the first set of runners made their way down Main Street and turned up Pigeontown Road while the route marshals raced to take up their positions in time. Aided by the advantage of the motor car, the route marshals arrived in time to assist as the runners made their way along the ups and downs of the Lurgan Road. |

The 3 mile runners were glad to reach the Edenturcher Road where they turned their route back towards Glenavy. The 4 mile runners had to continue onto the Chapel Road before they could do the same. At the end of these roads they could all turn onto the Glen Road knowing they were approaching the final part of their testing journey. Turning back onto Main Street, they arrived at the finishing point outside the Methodist Hall. Here they were welcomed and provided with a well-earned bottle of water for refreshment. Once each runner had got their breath back, they were presented with a medal to mark their endeavours.
